Watch this on the recent economic collapse

I usually steer clear of politics in this blog, but the video below is something everyone needs to watch as it traces the origins of the sub-prime mortgate crisis, which has caused the recent meltdown on Wall Street and Main Street. I'd recommend you pass this link and the link below the video to anyone who's interested in learning the beginnings of what has brought this country to its knees economically.

Out there and still kicking

While coming back from a business trip to Latvia (homeland of the Fantastic Four's famed Dr. Doom...), a guy got on the plane with a copy of the Da Vinci Code. I thought to myself, "Is that book still being read?" Obviously so. If you remember the story, ol' Dan Brown first said it was just fiction, then reversed his stance and said his story was true. 80 gospels besides Matthew, Mark, Luke, John. Devious men tossed out all the ones they didn't like. We don't have the real story about Jesus. And on, and on...

Brown's work isn't the only one out there - The Jesus Papers and others all tell the same general tale, and lots of folks swallow their lies hook, line, and sinker. But what happens when a beautiful and fanciful theory meets a brutal gang of facts? The facts win every time. And that's what happens when you really compare the evidence against all the bogus claims of those who cast doubt and suspicion on the New Testament.

Prayer and support for Audrey

A quick note for all of you to pray for a wonderful little 4-year old girl who is the grand-daughter of a good friend of mine - Audrey. She's recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor and has just completed a couple of surgeries. She's having a few complications and is about to undergo her chemo treatments soon. Audrey and her family will certainly appreciate your prayers. You can follow her story here.

Presentation for refuting Zeitgeist and pagan god theory

I just finished delivering a message that refutes the internet movie 'Zeitgeist' that revives outdated and already debunked claims about Jesus being nothing more than a copy of supposed rising/dying god stories that existed thousands of years before Christ, and were also supposedly also circulating at the time of Jesus. As many have already noted, the sources for Zeitgeist come from very questionable sources (Acharya S, Gerald Massey, etc.) and I also speak to that in the presentation.
