Humanism's roots and future

I just taught through the second to the last message on the 'Counterfeit Christs' series I developed today and covered the philosophy and religion of Humanism. The presentation below will show you the roots, political ramifications, and spiritual dimension of this religion that denies God. It's very interesting on the one hand, yet tragically sad on the other. I hope you find it enlightening.

The Worst Heresy since Gnosticism?

Today I led a class through the dangers of philosophical pluralism, which theologian D.A. Carson says may be the most dangerous heresy to come against the Church since Gnosticism (cf. Carson's book The Gagging of God).

Philosophical pluralism is subtle, very politically correct and acceptable today, and has enough truth to be palatable, so I understand what Carson means. But upon examination, it's also very easy to diffuse once you understand the foundation it's built upon and the fact that it fails to understand that every religion - not just Christianity - is exclusive and has doctrines it is not willing to put up for grabs.

Take a tour through the presentation I put together (one of a series I'm doing on Counterfeit Christs and false salvation) and let me know what you think.
